The recurring big toe injury on his right foot kept Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson out of practice for a second straight day and it remains unclear whether he will play in Week 3. Tomlinson, who rushed 10 times for 26 yards in the Week 2 loss to the Broncos, injured the toe late in Week One after rushing for 97 yards.

To further complicate the situation for LT2 owners, the Chargers play on Monday night against the Jets. To sit Tomlinson without a definitive status update would be a tough pill to swallow. Hopefully you have the speedy Darren Sproles on your roster (or grab Jacob Hester off the waiver wire in case LT2 sits and the Chargers do not want to run the diminutive Sproles into the ground). The Jets' Leon Washington would be another last gasp option, but keeps close tabs on the situation throughout the week.
