AP sits out Vikings Thursday practice
Words to make a fantasy owner of Adrian Peterson
sit up and take notice: AP sat out Thursday's practice because of a hamstring injury, according to Vikings head coach Brad Childress.
"He didn't participate today so that probably says what it says," Childress said. "DNP. He was limited [Wednesday]. It's a concern. Your legs are your legs. We'll just see how he comes out by the time we get to Sunday."
Peterson, who hopes to play against the Panthers in Week 3, said that the hamstring tightened up during the fourth quarter on Sunday. Hopefully Peterson owners have arguably the best handcuff in the league, Chester Taylor, on their squads. Regardless, this looks like a classic case of making sure you get the chores done early Sunday morning so you can monitor any breaking AP news.
