Titans WR Kenny Britt is done for 2011
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak confirmed on Monday that wide receiver Kenny Britt
's season is over after he tore an ACL and an MCL during Sunday's win over Denver. Britt was injured during the second quarter as he spun for more yardage. However, his right knee buckled awkwardly and Britt went down in a heap, fumbling the ball away. He had to be carted off the field. Going into week three, Britt was one of the best wide receivers for fantasy owners as he had caught 14 passes for 271 yards and three touchdowns.
Fantasy Analysis:
Another week, another major fantasy star goes down for the count. Tough luck, kids. If you're looking for a replacement, Nate Washington should be available in many leagues. He will assume the No. 1 WR role in Tennessee and seems to have Matt Hasselbeck
's attention. He has caught at least six passes in every game this season and topped 90 yards in the past two. Damien Williams or Lavelle Hawkins will move into the starting lineup, but they are only for the deepest of leagues.
