Bills RB C.J. Spiller to see more plays as wide receiver

The Buffalo Bills have an explosive offense suddenly, but their wide receiving corps is hurting. Roscoe Parrish is out for the season because of an ankle injury. Marcus Easley had to shut it down for the season because of a heart condition. No. 1 WR Steve Johnson said that it hurts to walk with his groin injury. So to help out, the Bills are going to put running back C.J. Spiller @CJSPILLER at wideout more often, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Spiller hasn't gotten a whole lot of playing time this season as Fred Jackson @Fred22Jackson has performed exceptionally. Through two games, Spiller has just two catches for 11 yards. He has nine carries for 89 yards.

Fantasy Analysis:

I don't expect Spiller to become this awesome volume passer in just a week or two. He'll be sprinkled in here and there, so his PPR value gets only a slight nudge up. His overall value is still limited because of Jackson's success. I think quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick benefits here a bit since Spiller has outstanding speed and can turn a little screen into a game-breaking play.
