Bills WR Steve Johnson battling groin injury
Buffalo Bills wide receivers are battling injuries on all fronts. WRs Marcus Easley and Roscoe Parrish
are already on injured reserve and now the team's best pass-catcher, Steve Johnson, is struggling with pain in his groin. Johnson told the Buffalo News that he can the pain while just walking around. He added, "Last week, I didn't feel it when I walked, [I felt it] only when I got out on the field, but now [the pain] is just there." If Johnson misses any time, wide receiver David Nelson
, who actually leads the team in receptions, should see the starting lineup and a big jump in his production.
Fantasy Analysis:
Johnson is a special player and one of the great young, up-and-coming receivers in the NFL. I say this because many people are just inherently skeptical of the Buffalo Bills. With that said, if Johnson goes down, Donald Jones
and David Nelson are fantasy must-adds. The Bills are banging on all cylinders with their passing game and even if your grandmother was lined up in the slot, I might add her in deep leagues.
