Giants WRs Mario Manningham and Domenik Hixon injured

New York Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham @ManninghamNYG was concussed in the second quarter of their win against the St. Louis Rams. As if that wasn't enough, WR Domenik Hixon @domenik_hixon came down hard on his his right knee during the second quarter as well. In 2010, he had reconstructive surgery done on the knee. For now, both players' status is unclear heading into Week 3.

Fantasy Analysis:

Although both players were injured, they should only miss a week, if anything at all. Hixon feels the team kept him out merely as a precaution and assuming Manningham is able to pass his post-concussion tests, he should be able to play against the Philadelphia Eagles this upcoming Sunday. If either player can't go, look for Victor Cruz and Brandon Stokley to see more playing time. There will be updates clarifying whether or not each guy will play later in the week.
