Cowboys RB Felix Jones nursing separated shoulder
And now begins the string of notes concerning injuries to Dallas Cowboys offensive starters. First, running back Felix Jones
, who separated his right shoulder early in yesterday's game versus the 49ers. He returned later on, but touched the ball just 10 times for 30 total yards. Backups Tashard Choice
and DeMarco Murray
performed simply OK in his absence. Choice carried the ball five times for five yards and caught two passes for 24 yards. Murray has six carries for 21 yards and caught a four-yard pass.
Fantasy Analysis:
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said after the game he was unsure if Felix would play next Monday night against the Redskins. ESPN's Adam Schefter said earlier today that the feeling is he won't miss any game action. We'll keep tabs on it throughout the week, but Murray is the guy who certainly looked better and I think he's the more valuable pickup if Jones is sidelined. However, a timeshare between Choice and Murray would probably ensue.
