Seahawks WR Sidney Rice is back at practice
The Seattle Seahawks need all the help they can get with Tarvaris Jackson
leading their aerial attack. It looks like their prized addition of the offseason could pitch in this weekend. Wide receiver Sidney Rice
returned to practice in limited fashion Wedensday. He had been off the field completely for the past three weeks because of a shoulder injury. He missed the season opener versus San Francisco last Sunday.
Fantasy Analysis:
Having all these players -- Rice, Arian Foster, Sam Bradford, etc. -- take part in practice to some extent this early in the week is good news for their immediate fantasy stock. However, in Rice's case, I'm not sure anything can save him. Tarvaris Jackson is ... well, it's something worse than bad. It's not that hard to see. And while the Steelers got ripped up by the Ravens last week, they will be angry and looking for someone to punish. I think this Sunday is going to be a bad game all around for Seattle. Keep all your Seahawks benched.
For the long term, it's difficult to have much faith in Rice as something more than a deep WR3 as long as Jackson is throwing him passes. Really, he's putrid.
