Raiders RB Darren McFadden limited in Wednesday practice
Oakland Raiders head coach Hue Jackson withheld running back Darren McFadden
from practice on Wednesday due to undisclosed reasons. In Oakland's victory over the Denver Broncos during Monday Night Football, McFadden ran all over the place. He rushed for 150 yards on 22 carries. Vinnie Iyer of The Sporting News said that McFadden's performance solidified his status as one of the game's "elite young all-purpose backs." Such praise will continue to pour in as long as he stays healthy.
Fantasy Analysis:
McFadden may have run all over a team that still has a lot to prove in this young 2011 season, but there's no denying his place in this offense. The Raiders certainly don't have a dominating offensive line, but that certainly isn't any deterrent for this fourth year back. If Oakland is able to get into the red zone more often, he may be able to put it together for a 10-plus touchdown year to go along with at least 1,500-plus total yards. One small concern is that RB Marcel Reece
was used often on third-down which will definitely eat into McFadden's PPR production.
