49ers WR Michael Crabtree expects foot problems all season
After missing the entire preseason because of a foot injury, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree
was able to to play in the team's regular season victory over the Seattle Seahawks. The Sacremento Bee reported that his foot has not fully healed since his last surgery but that he is willing to play through the pain. Although, "if the pain becomes unbearable, like it was on Sunday, he'll remove himself from the game."
Fantasy Analysis:
Crabtree only played 16 snaps on Sunday. WR Josh Morgan
played 36 snaps and Braylon Edwards
played 33. For now, Crabtree has virtually no fantasy upside and isn't even worth a roster spot. The 49ers offense isn't going to win many games because of their prolific pass offense and if Crabtree is barely playing from week to week, any big-time numbers will be a bit of a fluke. Fantasy owners should drop him if they've got him occupying their bench.
