Seattle RB Marshawn Lynch ready for Week 1
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch
has been limited recently due to an ankle injury but according to a report from the Everett Herald, "all signs point" to him being ready for Week 1. The Seahawks failed to establish much of a running game last year, their first under the care of head coach Pete Carroll. With the addition of former Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable as their new offensive line coach, expect a dramatic improvement.
Fantasy Analysis:
Lynch may seem like a boring pick as a flex option or RB3 for your fantasy roster, but there's more than meets the eye here. Cable was responsible for milking all the yards he could out of running backs like Justin Fargas and most recently, last year's breakout running back Darren McFadden
. Don't forget Lynch was a solid back upon entering the league. Considering quarterback Tarvaris Jackson
won't be asked to shoulder the full burden of the offense, Lynch is poised to have the entire offense revolve around his work on the ground. Long story short, it's still Marshawn Lynch but he'll get a ton of work.
