Saints WR Lance Moore down but not out
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Lance Moore
has been held out of practice recently due to a groin injury. That setback will not require surgery and he is not set to play in the Saints' preseason finale against the Tennessee Titans this Thursday. He is only being rested as a precaution. Moore is set to return in time for the Saints' regular season opener on Thursday, September 8.
Fantasy Analysis:
With microfracture surgery done on both of Marques Colston
's knees, many of my fantasy analyst colleagues are very high on Moore this year. What's not to like about the Saints offense to begin with? Not to put a damper on that parade but the Saints have new names and are still loaded. They added Darren Sproles
who is a more durable third down back than Bush and TE Jimmy Graham
is no slouch himself and widely considered a potential sleeper option. Moore is likely to have another solid year but higher expectations may not be met.
