Chargers WR Patrick Crayton undergoes surgery; WR Malcom Floyd 'fine'

While Malcom Floyd should be back in short order, the San Diego Chargers will be without another wide receiver for a while. Patrick Crayton @pcrayton12 will be out for 10-14 days after having arthroscopic surgery to remove bone spurs on his ankle Monday.
Meanwhile, Floyd, who sustained a concussion during Sunday night's game in Dallas, was said to be "fine," according to head coach Norv Turner.

Fantasy Analysis:

Before Floyd re-signed, Crayton was considered to be the Chargers' No. 2 WR. However, he's a pure possession receiver and even with Philip Rivers throwing him the ball, he's not worth a fantasy pick except in the deepest of leagues.
Floyd is back into his role as a starting wideout for the Chargers but as the No. 3 option in the passing game behind Vincent Jackson and Antonio Gates. There should still be enough passes to go around for Floyd to put up some nice stats, and I think he's a fairly solid WR3 to start the season.
