Lions RB Jahvid Best cleared after concussion

Lions fans had to hold their breath over the weekend with the news that running back Jahvid Best @J4hvidbest suffered a concussion during Friday's preseason game versus Cleveland. For those who remembered that a concussion ended Best's college career, there was definitely cause for concern. However, he was medically cleared to practice Tuesday and will probably do so Wednesday.
Head coach Jim Schwartz said Best probably won't play in the team's game this weekend against New England and won't be getting hit tomorrow, but he is expected to be on the field.

Fantasy Analysis:

Good news to hear, and I like that the Lions will take it easy with Best for the time being. There's no doubt that he's an injury-prone player. However, he is a dangerous running back, a big-time playmaker who is a very good receiver and the clear-cut starter in his backfield. I'm fine with him being a top-15 RB as long as you understand that the risk of injury is more apparent with him than others being drafted around him.
