Raiders TE Kevin Boss out with sprained knee

Yet another Oakland Raiders receiver has come down with an injury. Tight end Kevin Boss @KevinBossman is now following in the likes of Jacoby Ford (broken hand), Chaz Schilens (sprained knee) and Louis Murphy (hamstring injury). He has a sprained knee of his own, an injury he sustained during Saturday's game versus San Francisco. Raiders head coach Hue Jackson said Boss is considered to be "week to week."

Fantasy Analysis:

There is some speculation that Boss injured his MCL, which would put him on the shelf for at least a couple of weeks. Suddenly, he seems like a risky bet to play week one. But Boss wasn't an exceptional fantasy commodity to begin with. He is a mid-range TE2 who saw his value drop when he decided against returning to the New York Giants and went to Oakland instead. Now injured, it looks like you can forget Boss entirely for your draft.
