Chargers WR Malcom Floyd suffers concussion

The San Diego Chargers announced after Sunday night's preseason game in Dallas that wide receiver Malcom Floyd has a concussion. The injury happened during a play in the first half when Floyd caught a pass over the middle of the field. Cowboys safety Gerald Sensabaugh wrapped him up, pinning Floyd's arms against his side. Unable to brace his fall, Floyd's head bounced off the turf. He did not return to the game.

Fantasy Analysis:

Normally, you would expect Floyd to return to practice in short order. But we know all too well that concussions are unpredictable and can linger for weeks. We'll let you know if he is out of action for more than a few days.
Floyd is currently the 45th WR off the board on average in mock drafts, according to FFToolbox. Granted, he's no better than the No. 3 option in San Diego's assing game, but he should see a good number of looks in the Chargers' pass-first offense. I think he is a little underrated right now. I would definitely put him inside the top 40 among wide receivers.
