RB Danny Woodhead appears to suffer concussion
The New England Patriots and head coach Bill Belichick are notorious for vague injury reports. After second year running back Danny Woodhead
took a big hit on a punt return during their Thursday preseason game against the Tampa Bay Bucs, he stumbled attempting to get to his feet. After the game, Woodhead said, "I feel fine." He then declined to answer any more questions.
Fantasy Analysis:
For those who saw the game, they know Woodhead got rocked. The regular season is far enough away that even if this was a concussion, it won't directly affect his playing status for Week 1. Something to keep in mind is that concussions seem to come in bunches for players. Woodhead isn't a big guy and remember that Colts WR Austin Collie
missed a lot of the 2010 season after sustaining multiple concussions. Woodhead is a fringe fantasy player who would be best utilized in a PPR league.
