Jaguars' Maurice Jones-Drew cleared for 11-on-11 drills

The Jacksonville Jaguars are still playing it pretty safe with Maurice Jones-Drew @Jones_Drew32's knee, but progress is being made. Jones-Drew was cleared to participate in the 11-on-11, full-contact drills for the first time in training camp Saturday night. Up until then, he had been very limited in practices and didn't play in the team's first preseason game. He's already been ruled out of the Jags' second preseason game versus the Falcons on Friday. But it sounds like his knee is getting better.

Fantasy Analysis:

We can only hope. We'll continue to monitor this situation, and hopefully we'll get an update on how Jones-Drew feels tomorrow. Still, I consider MJD a fairly risky first-round pick. And with first-round picks, I want to minimize risk as much as possible. So unless he falls to 10 or lower, I'm probably going to stay away until I hear something positive about MJD's knee that doesn't come from the man himself.
