Raiders coach Hue Jackson confident in injured RB Darren McFadden

In spite of a cracked orbital bone that could set him back two weeks, Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden @dmcfadden20 has the confidence of his head coach Hue Jackson. "McFadden is to me one of the most complete and elite runners in this league," said Jackson. "Obviously, he had a very good season last year. He's going to build on that." Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell also chimed in saying that McFadden reminded him of recent Hall of Fame inductee running back Marshall Faulk.

Fantasy Analysis:

When healthy, McFadden is the Raiders' featured back and most talented player on offense. All things will go through him. Although he has a reputation for injuries, a cracked orbital bone is a fluke injury. This isn't say he is immune to injuries this season, but this isn't a knee or ankle injury that hurts his athleticism. McFadden had over 1,600 total yards and 10 TDs in only 13 games last year. Durability concerns are valid but McFadden has proven that he can produce when he's on the field.
