Raiders RB Darren McFadden out 2 weeks with fractured orbital bone

Less than one week after Jacoby Ford broke his hand, the Raiders have lost another game-breaking talent due to a broken bone. Running back Darren McFadden @dmcfadden20 broke an orbital bone after apparently taking a helmet to the cheek during practice Wednesday. He is expected to be out for two weeks. "Darren has a little small fracture of his orbit," head coach Hue Jackson said. "So he'll be out a couple weeks. It's interesting because last year he was out a couple of weeks and it was a hamstring." McFadden, like Ford, is expected to be ready for week one of the regular season.

Fantasy Analysis:

Michael Bush @michaelbush29 has yet to sign his first- and third-round tender from the team. But the team expects Bush to sign and join his teammates soon. Once he gets into camp, he is McFadden's obvious backup. Right now, players such as Rock Cartwright and Louis Rankin are getting the carries in practice. I am not worried about this. It's not one of those dreaded soft tissue injuries that have dogged McFadden in the pros. He should be fine soon enough and, he's a top-10 running back.
