Saints' Marques Colston probable, Jimmy Graham out for Saturday
The New Orleans Saints will have their top wide receiver available for Saturday's playoff game in Seattle, but they will be without their blossoming tight end.
Marques Colston
is listed as probable on the team's injury report. He had arthroscopic knee surgery less than two weeks ago, but was a full participant during Friday's practice and expected to start in a very attractive matchup.
Tight end Jimmy Graham
has been ruled out for the game because of an ankle injury, which he suffered during Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay. Graham has become an important red-zone target for New Orleans in recent weeks as he scored four touchdowns in the final three games of the regular season. The impact of his absence will be somewhat limited with the return of Jeremy Shockey
and David Thomas. Those tight ends, like Colston, are also listed as probable after taking part in Friday's practice.
Fantasy Analysis:
No Pierre Thomas, no Ivory, no Graham should ultimately be no problem for the Saints. Even if Colston is not 100 percent, they still have Drew Brees and a plenty of outlets to take advantage of the Seahawks' awful secondary. But I think Colston will be a big producer in this game and a quality start in fantasy playoff leagues as New Orleans wins by double digits.
