Jets' Sanchez will be game-time decision

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez @Mark_Sanchez is unlikely to start this Sunday in a game against the Chicago Bears. In his place, backup quarterback Mark Brunell @M_Brunell8. When asked about Sanchez head coach Rex Ryan said, "He was going good yesterday, moving around and all that. Today, I could tell he was a little sore. I think we were expecting a little more zip. ... He was flying around upbeat yesterday." Sanchez was limited in practice on Thursday. He was injured last week in the Jets' win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Jets clinch a playoff spot with a win on Sunday.

Fantasy Analysis:

Chicago has one of the tougher fantasy defenses out there, allowing the sixth fewest fantasy points to QBs on the season. The Bears have only allowed the second fewest passing touchdowns this season. Add to the fact that Sanchez isn't asked to necessarily win games by his hand alone. Plus, if Sanchez is hurting, the Jets may want to run the ball a little more with LaDainian Tomlinson and Shonn Greene. All this being said, this is the fantasy playoffs and this game is going to be treated like a playoff game. A shootout seems unlikely making Sanchez or Brunell a weak option for your lineups at this critical time of year.
