UPDATE: Bills' Lee Evans could be out for season

Update: As anticipated, the Bills placed Evans on injured reserve Tuesday. Buffalo Bills wide receiver Lee Evans @leeevans83 has already been ruled out for week 15 and his playing status for the rest of 2010 is looking dim. The team's most experienced receiver suffered a high ankle sprain during the second quarter of Sunday's win against Cleveland. The injury didn't seem to be too serious initially, but a postgame examination displayed the diagnosis to be that buzz three-word phrase. Head coach Chan Gailey said Monday that Evans wouldn't be available when the Bills face the Dolphins this Sunday. He is the Bills' second-leading receiver this season with 37 catches for 578 yards and four touchdowns.

Fantasy Analysis:

I would guess the Bills place Evans on injured reserve this week. He'll be out for at least two games, maybe the rest of the season, and Buffalo could really use that roster spot. Other than Stevie Johnson @StevieJohnson13, the only healthy WRs on the Bills' current roster are David Nelson, Donald Jones and Naaman Roosevelt, all undrafted rookies. Johnson should see more targets as a result, but also more defensive attention. He's still a top-25 WR for me, but I am going to need to see him do something against Miami this week. He finishes the year against the Patriots and at the Jets (read: Darrelle Revis).
