Eagles' Graham out for year, Bradley out indefinitely
Philadelphia Eagles rookie defensive lineman Brandon Graham
is out for the remainder of the season with a torn knee ligament. Graham was a first-round selection by the Eagles. He tore his ACL during Sunday night's 30-27 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Middle linebacker Stewart Bradley
is out indefinitely with a dislocated right elbow. Head coach Andy Reid said that Bradley does not require surgery and may be able to return later in the season. Bradley was hurt in the second quarter of the Cowboys game on Sunday when he landed awkwardly on his arm. He has had many injury problems, including a torn ACL which kept him out for the entire 2009 season.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Eagles have one of the better fantasy defenses in the NFL this season. Losing two players is very unfortunate, especially one as vital as Bradley. Backup linebacker Omar Gaither will likely fill-in for Bradley. In any case, the Eagles have upcoming games at New York and Minnesota at home. Philadelphia needs to tighten up on defense. Teams are able to exploit them whether via the run of the pass. With these two injuries, things won't get any easier for the short term. Bradley missed his Week 2 game because he suffered a concussion in the season opener.
