Vikings' Percy Harvin likely out for another game
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin
hasn't practiced since Dec. 1. Unfortunately, that streak didn't stop Friday as Harvin missed another practice and seems unlikely to play Sunday against the New York Giants. Harvin is listed as doubtful on the team's official injury report because of reoccurring migraines. It would be his second consecutive missed game. Interim head coach Leslie Frazier said Friday that Harvin's situation is "touch-and-go" and that it would be "very, very difficult to get him up to speed" for this contest after missing so much practice time.
"In my case, I end up going by what the doctors tell me and also when I communicate with Percy, what he tells me," Frazier said. "Right now, no football for right now."
Fantasy Analysis:
Even if Harvin's migraines clear up before Sunday's game, he'll have missed too much time to be ready. We'll revisit his status next week with absolutely no guarantees. Harvin's absence means Sidney Rice
will be targeted a ton once again. The matchup isn't great, but Rice is basically a lock for double-digit looks and is a solid WR2 for fantasy, no matter if Tavaris Jackson or that other guy takes the snaps. I may think even higher of him this week if Jackson gets the start.
