Eagles' Samuel listed as questionable

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel @pick_six22 is listed as questionable and did not practice on Friday due to a sprained knee. When speaking to the media, Samuel said he is "feeling pretty good" and is "taking it day-to-day." In spite of missing three games this season, Samuel leads the NFL in interceptions (seven). Samuel doesn't think he really needs to practice in order to play and said,"No, I really don't. I really don't need any practice. My main thing is being healthy, but the more practice the better. I would prefer to be out there running around a little bit more, but I'm just trying to do the best thing to get all the strength back possible and be ready to go." If he cannot play, cornerback Joselio Hanson will play.

Fantasy Analysis:

Philadelphia has struggled in recent weeks to stop the pass, more so than usual at least. Samuel would make all the difference this week against a red-hot Dallas Cowboys team. For those with the Eagles defense, they are still a borderline start this week but maintain realistic expectations. Remember that Philly leads the league in interceptions and considering how prolific the Eagles' offense can be, this game could end up in a shootout regardless if Samuel plays or not. The Eagles still haven't secured a playoff spot so every game counts at this point.
