Steelers' Heath Miller doubtful for week 14

The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't fooling around with Heath Miller's health. Five days away from their next game, head coach Mike Tomlin has declared his tight end is doubtful to play. Miller suffered a concussion Sunday night at Baltimore. Backup tight end Matt Spaeth @MattSpaeth89 has been dealing with his own concussion, but Tomlin said Spaeth has a "clear bill of health" and has been fully cleared to practice Tuesday.

Fantasy Analysis:

Ravens linebacker Jameel McClain was rightfully fined $40,000 for his illegal hit to Miller. It wasn't exactly a helmet-to-helmet collision, but McClain hit a falling Miller above the neck and made his head snap back at a very awkward angle. The fact that Miller has been basically ruled out this early in the week gives you a hint into how severe his concussion is. Chargers' Darren Sproles also suffered a concussion Sunday, but that team is still holding out hope he'll be cleared to play. But Miller is so far away from 100 percent that the team knew on a Monday or Tuesday he wouldn't be able to give it a go this week. You should expect him to miss more than just one game. Miller is a borderline TE1 in fantasy as he has just one touchdown and has surpassed five fantasy points just twice all season.
