Good news for Texans' Andre Johnson

Andre Johnson @johnson80's re-aggravation of his sprained right ankle cost him a handful of plays Thursday night, but it appears right now it won't cost him any more playing time going forward. Johnson underwent an MRI on the ankle after the Texans' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and the exam showed nothing major. "He tweaked it again," head coach Gary Kubiak said to the Houston Chronicle about Johnson's ankle. "He got the shot and played very well. The tests showed no significant changes. We'll continue to treat him as we have been." Johnson initially suffered the ankle sprain Sept. 19 at Washington. It forced him to sit out one game, but for the most part, he's played through the pain and the numerous tweaks and turns. This just seems to be another one of those episodes.

Fantasy Analysis:

There aren't a lot of stellar pass defenses in today's NFL, but Johnson's remaining schedule -- Baltimore, at Tennessee, at Denver, Jacksonville -- is exceptionally friendly. He'll continue to play on the ankle and it will continue to give him problems from time to time. But you know that he should remain in your lineup for as long as he is active. He's on pace for about 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games. That may be a little less than what his owners expected in early September, but Andre is still a top-tier fantasy stud.
