Browns' Delhomme will get another start

Cleveland Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme will likely start again in Week 13, as rookie quarterback Colt McCoy is still recovering from his injury. Delhomme played last week in a home game win against the Carolina Panthers. He passed for 245 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions. Delhomme has missed the majority of the season with a high ankle sprain after beginning 2010 as the starter. When asked about throwing six interceptions total in his three games played this season, Delhomme said, "... to me, if you're Charlie Checkdown, yeah, your stats are going to look great at the end of the game. But those 13 points, I don't know how many wins you're going to get with that."

Fantasy Analysis:

Charlie Checkdown would definitely be an improvement over Delhomme at this point. Mrs. Delhomme may even be more effective. Putdowns aside, Delhomme needs to get a grip already. The Browns are in rebuilding mode and at least they have a new young quarterback to invest their hope in, rather than see Jake Delhomme throw two picks per game with stunning consistency. The Browns go on the road to Miami this week and Delhomme shouldn't be on your roster, let alone a possible starting quarterback for you. There has to be a better matchup out there on the waiver wire.
