Marion Barber has been cast aside by many fantasy owners for quite a while now. But even when he gives you any reason to show faith, his body finds a way to dash it all. Coming off one of his best fantasy games of the season -- eight points is a relatively huge total for him -- Barber will likely miss a game or two because of his strained calf, according to ESPN's Tim McMahon. Barber left Thursday's loss to New Orleans in the fourth quarter because of the injury. He has rushed for just 313 yards on 102 carries this season. Tashard Choice is expected to see more carries as a result.

Fantasy Analysis:

People have been clamoring for more Tashard, so maybe this is Choice's chance. But you shouldn't be buying. I know he has carried the ball only 14 times this year, but it's not like he's been very impressive. He's run for 38 yards. Let's temper expectations. I think this news brings up Felix Jones ' value a bit. He's already a flex option every week because of his usage in the passing game. Now he may see a few more snaps on traditional running plays. If the report holds true, Barber will miss games against Indianapolis and Philadelphia. He should be missing from all fantasy lineups for the rest of this year.
