Jaguars list Maurice Jones-Drew as questionable for week 12

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew @Jones_Drew32 went through limited practices all week, held back because of what's being described as an abdomen injury. The good news is head coach Jack Del Rio isn't showing much concern, according to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union. Jones-Drew is expected to play Sunday against the New York Giants. Jones-Drew has a history of playing through pain as he has missed just one game despite dealing with a number of maladies through his five NFL seasons. He enters Sunday's game on quite a roll. He has rushed for at least 100 yards in each of the Jags' past three games and has three total touchdowns in that span.

Fantasy Analysis:

We'll see if this injury limits him, but I think the matchup will be a bigger problem for MJD than his abs. The Giants have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. They have allowed just one 100-yard rusher in their past six games. Although that happened last week when LeSean McCoy ran for 111 yards, he was going nowhere through three quarters. Then a couple of carries saved the day. Jones-Drew is a must-start, of course. But I think his short streak of triple-digit rushing days comes to an end Sunday.
