Patriots' Brady misses Wednesday practice, questionable vs. Lions
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is listed as questionable for their Thanksgiving Day game against the Detroit Lions. Brady missed practiced on Tuesday and Wednesday due to a foot injury. With only a short break of three days between their game on Sunday, the Patriots have limited their practices in order to give their players extra rest. Brady has one practice per week in each of the last two weeks in order to rest his foot injury. He has still played well and the days off from practice have been strictly precautionary.
Fantasy Analysis:
Brady has been making a habit out of missing practice the last few weeks but it really hasn't affected his performance. He played great against the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday and the Pittsburgh Steelers the week before that. The Patriots finally have a running game to give them a true balanced attack on offense and it's been years since that was the case. In spite of Randy Moss' departure, Brady and New England are among the best teams in the NFL. In tomorrow's game against the Lions, Brady is a must-start. Detroit's defense isn't as bad as it was to begin the season but it's still Detroit. The Lions have only won two games all season so there's no reason to even consider starting someone in place of Brady.
