Jason Campbell is still the Raiders' starting quarterback
Jason Campbell was benched during Sunday's game, but he won't stay on the bench when the Raiders take the field this week versus Miami. Tom Cable tried his best to quell any discussion of a QB controversy Monday when he said Campbell will be his starter for week 12. "He'll be the starter next week; there is no issue there," Cable said of Campbell. "We just felt like a change was needed." Campbell got the hook with about five minutes remaining in the third quarter of Oakland's embarrassment against the Steelers. At that point, Campbell had completed just seven of 19 passes for 70 yards and an interception. Bruce Gradkowski
replaced him and didn't didn't present a great case for why he should regain the starting role. He completed 13 of 24 passes for just 98 yards and an interception.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Dolphins' pass defense can be burned, but I don't think the Raiders have any passing options that are worthy of starting for you this week. Jacoby Ford disappeared against the Steelers; Zach Miller's foot is still bothering him; Louis Murphy is working his way back from injury. And obviously the quarterbacks contribute to the low totals of those players. I think Sunday will bring a large bounce-back game from Darren McFadden. Otherwise, the Raiders should be ignored in fantasy until further notice.
