Jaguars' Mike Sims-Walker says he has high ankle sprain

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker @MikeSimsWalker missed Sunday's win versus Cleveland due to a sprained ankle. But it sounds like he'll be missing more than just that one game. Sims-Walker told the Florida Times-Union on Monday that he has a high ankle sprain. Head coach Jack Del Rio declared Sims-Walker questionable for Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Tiquan Underwood @TiUnderwood will see increased snaps for as long as Sims-Walker is out.

Fantasy Analysis:

Del Rio can drop questionable on the media, but we all know by know that high ankle sprains are multi-week injuries (especially for running backs and wide receivers). Make other plans if you have MSW. Mike Thomas @MikeThomasWR scored a touchdown Sunday, but didn't have the big game that many predicted against the Browns with Sims-Walker unavailable. Underwood showed little promise as he dropped two passes and ended with just one catch for seven yards. The leading receivers were Marcedes Lewis and Maurice Jones-Drew -- even though nearly all of his yardage came on one play. I think that's the way it'll be this week. You've got to start MJD and Lewis is a decent option considering how up and down tight ends have been this season. But I would try to avoid all other Jaguars against a pissed off Giants defense in New Jersey. That includes Thomas and David Garrard, who gave the ball to the Browns four times.
