Colts rule out Austin Collie for Sunday

As word broke that Austin Collie @AKCollie_17's concussion symptoms were subsiding soon after Sunday's game, there was hope that he would be able to play just seven days after suffering a concussion as a result of a helmet-to-helmet hit at Philadelphia. But Collie has already been declared out of this Sunday's game versus the Cincinnati Bengals. Indianapolis made the decision public Tuesday. It will represent Collie's second missed game in the last three weeks. He sat out of the Colts' week-eight game versus Houston as he recovered from hand surgery.

Fantasy Analysis:

Collie said after the Eagles game that he was "fine", but he's clearly not and no one is expecting him to be after he had to be stretchered off the field. The fact that he's been ruled out so early in the week is a sign that he is FAR from ready for more NFL hits and his status for next week's matchup at New England should be considered very uncertain. With Collie out, Blair White becomes the Colts' No. 3 WR once again and is a nice depth addition for deep leaguers. Jacob Tamme and Pierre Garcon could also see an uptick in targets, but even in a difficult matchup against the Bengals' pass defense, you're most likely starting those two players anyway.
