Bills' Roscoe Parrish out for season
Buffalo Bills wide receiver and return specialist Roscoe Parrish
broke his wrist and will be forced to miss the remainder of the season. Although he's been in the league for six seasons, all with Buffalo, Parrish was experiencing one of his best seasons statistically. Although he's just Buffalo's third wide receiver, Parrish had 33 receptions for 400 yards and two touchdowns. With Parrish out, starters Lee Evans and Steve Johnson should see more time. Parrish broke his wrist during Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears. He was the team's second-leading receiver.
Fantasy Analysis:
Well, for a team that can't catch any breaks, it's not surprising they lose a wide receiver and one that was having a career year. Buffalo still has Steve Johnson, who had a streak of five straight games with a touchdown (six total) broken last week against the Bears despite an 11-catch, 145-yard performance. Parrish was a nice compliment to the offense. The Bills had been using his versatility all over the field as a sub for all the receiver positions, but unfortunately his season is over. His absence likely doesn't improve anyone else's fantasy chances except for backup receivers Donald Jones and David Nelson. Between the two players, Nelson is the one most likely to see the field more. It's also possible the Bills bring in a free agent to fill-in for the remainder of the season.
