Eagles' DeSean Jackson will likely play Sunday
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson
has gone through a full week of practice and according to head coach Andy Reid on Friday, he is "ready to roll" in Sunday's meeting against the Indianapolis Colts. Jackson has passed all his necessary neurological tests and examinations. Unless he displays some post-concussion symptoms between now and kickoff, he will play. Jackson is returning from a vicious concussion, which occurred Oct. 17 versus Atlanta.
Fantasy Analysis:
I am frankly stunned that Jackson is ready to return to the starting lineup so quickly. When I first wrote about Jackson's concussion, I had doubts that he would play at all in November, much less the Eagles' first game of the month. His recovery from such a violent hit has been tremendous. And as Jackson comes back, so does Michael Vick. He is good to go after his rib cartilage injury from week five. He and Jackson established quite a rapport early in the season. In two full games together, Vick supplied Jackson with nine receptions for 288 yards and two touchdowns. He has just 107 receiving yards in four other games this year. If Jackson doesn't have experience any setbacks, I think he's a solid start in all leagues for week nine. Amazing.
