Cowboys' Tashard Choice expects to see more carries

Marion Barber @24marionbarber is averaging just three yards per carry this season. Felix Jones @felixjones28 hasn't impressed in the past couple of games and has been limited during the practice week. So, with a team that will make a ton of changes after the season, maybe it's time for a change in the the Dallas Cowboys' backfield right now. Tashard Choice @tchoice23 said Thursday he expects to see his role grow this week because head coach Wade Phillips told him so. "I'm going to show up," Choice said. "If I'm in, I'm on. And it's on Sunday night, I promise you that." Phillips didn't give any specifics on Choice's playing time; he just told him to be ready. Choice hasn't carried the ball since week three. He caught four passes for 27 yards during last week's embarrassing loss to Jacksonville.

Fantasy Analysis:

Really, why not? We've seen what Barber can do. It's certainly nothing special and I'm not sure how much fuel remains in that tank. Felix Jones still has a high ceiling, but he hasn't separated himself from the pack and it always seems that he negates any positive with some kind of injury. With the Cowboys' season in a full-on nosedive, I would like to see Choice get more touches. It's not like he can make the Cowboys' 31st-ranked run offense much worse. There are a number of great running backs on bye this week, so I'm sure some of you in deeper leagues are desperate for a one-week bandage. Check out Choice; he should get some work.
