Raiders injury update: Bruce Gradkowski remains No. 1 QB; Louis Murphy OK

I think I've written more injury updates regarding the Oakland Raiders than any other NFL team this season. I'm not sure why that is, but here's another. Head coach Tom Cable said Monday that the quarterback job still belongs to Bruce Gradkowski @bgradkowski5, who has missed the majority of the past three games with a shoulder injury. Cable said Gradkowski's injury is improving, but when he will return stands as a mystery. "... is he ready to go and do it the way we need him to?," Cable said. "We'll see. We just don't know yet." Jason Campbell has been filling in for Gradkowski and has led the team to a 2-1 record in those three games. Initially, wide receiver Louis Murphy @murph918 was thought to have aggravated his clavicle injury from Sept. 26 during Sunday's shocking win at Denver. Instead, it looks like he came came away with just a bruised chest, but the team is awaiting MRI results. Still, Cable thinks he'll be able to play Sunday versus the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Analysis:

Campbell really hasn't shown that deserves to be the starter for the rest of the year, so as long as Gradkowski is healthy, he won't be. Again, I don't think this means much to the Raiders' passing game outside of Zach Miller. But he has shown the ability to score with different quarterbacks taking the snaps. He remains a must-start. Murphy has been a disappoint since a couple of early breakout weeks. He has just six catches for 99 yards in the last four games. No matter who is the quarterback, Murphy should be out of your lineup until he shows a pulse again.
