Chargers' Legedu Naanee will be back next week
The San Diego Chargers will have at least one of their starting two wide receivers back this week. Naanee has missed his last two games due to a hamstring injury. The San Diego Union-Tribune is also reporting the No. 1 WR Malcom Floyd will be out as well as kicker Nate Kaeding. Without Floyd and Naanee, the Chargers were left to rely on backups Patrick Crayton and Buster Davis in a game against the New England Patriots. New England ended up winning the game on their heels as San Diego scored 17 of their 20 points in the fourth quarter.
Fantasy Analysis:
San Diego really needs a spark and that's something that only suspended wide receiver Vincent Jackson can provide. At this point, the Chargers have one of the best passing offenses in the NFL but remain very unbalanced in their attack. They are also a far better team than their record shows. Naanee is a nice addition for next week, but what the Chargers need is Jackson and Floyd with Naanee in the slot. What's crazy here is the Chargers are No. 1 in offense, passing offense, defense and pass defense. They are fourth in rush defense as well. You'd think with all that, they'd be better, right? Apparently not. The sage continues next week against the Tennessee Titans. Naanee is a solid flex option in that game.
