Who's in and who's out of the early games for week 7?

This isn't a huge week for "game-time decisions" to some of fantasy football's top-tier players, especially in the early games. But there are still some names and situations to watch. Among them are the QB scenarios in Tennessee and Jacksonville and couple of tight ends, Todd Heap @ToddHeap86 and Chris Cooley @thecooleyzone. Keep checking back on this post until the 1 p.m. Eastern kickoffs for all of the latest injury updates. Jerramy Stevens hasn't been a fantasy factor for years, but it's worth noting that he won't play today after he was arrested Saturday night. He has been charged with two felonies, possession of cannabis and intent to sell. He was also changed with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. This is Stevens' third arrest in his nine-year NFL career. The previous two were DUI related. A suspension is certainly coming. Kellen Winslow is still the tight end you want in Tampa. Stevens has just three catches this year. ESPN is reporting that Vince Young @VinceYoung will not start today for the Titans. He will be the No. 2 QB behind Kerry Collins. According to FOX's Jay Glazer, Collins is playing with a torn tendon on the top of the middle finger on his throwing hand, so maybe we'll see Vince. Collins' presence is more bad news for Kenny Britt, who will also not start this game after Friday's bar fight. Collins looked his way just twice last week. This is a decent matchup for Tennessee's passing game, but hopefully you aren't so desperate that you need to consider Nate Washington or Damian Williams. Justin Gage is inactive, so you don't have to worry about him. Bo Scaife, who missed some practice time during the week due to injury, is active and might be Collins' top target. It's official: Todd Bouman is back! He will get his first NFL start in five years today for the Jaguars. If you still need a defense today, give the Chiefs at home a long, long look. In other words, pick them up. Trent Edwards will serve as Bouman's backup. Many thought Michael Vick could be the primary backup for Kevin Kolb today, but that will not happen. He has been deactivated for another week and will serve as the emergency No. 3 QB. I'm sure we'll be talking about this situation a lot over the next two weeks. The Eagles are on bye in week eight. This concerns a late game, but NFL.com's Jason La Canfora is reporting that Jason Campbell will be the Raiders' starting quarterback against the Broncos today. He was listed as questionable due to a knee injury, but got some work late in the practice week. As a result, Zach Miller remains a decent option at tight end. As expected, the Panthers' Steve Smith is active and will start after missing one game due to an ankle sprain. With Matt Moore reinstalled under center, I think Smith is a decent No. 3 WR for this week. He and Moore have had a pretty good connection going back to last season. Todd Heap is active for the Ravens. He has a fantastic matchup and with so many owners out there with TE troubles, he's a good sleeper this week. Chris Cooley is active for the Redskins. We saw this coming as he practiced this week despite suffering a concussion on Sunday night. He is a solid start against the Bears. Already inactive for week 7 include Pierre Thomas, Mohamed Massaquoi, Fred Taylor, DeSean Jackson @DeseanJackson10 and David Garrard.

Fantasy Analysis:

Dealing with the impact of the inactives: We know that Julius Jones, Ladell Betts and Chris Ivory will have their hands in the Saints' backfield, but Ivory proved that he is "the man" last week. He should get 15 touches and I think he's a solid flex play against the Browns today. Other than Ben Watson, you want nothing to do with the Browns' passing game. Colt McCoy will get another start. Taylor is out for yet another week due to a toe injury. BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Danny Woodhead seem to be the top two options in the Patriots' running game. BJG-E will get the goal-line touches and a few between the 20s, but Woodhead is quicker, faster, much more versatile and is getting more right now. He's the guy I want if I had to choose a New England running back. Don't forget Woodhead is eligible at running back and wide receiver in many platforms. Either way, I think both players can be considered flex plays in deeper leagues. DeSean Jackson is out for this week, next week as the Eagles hold their bye and who knows how much longer. I think it could be long while. Jeremy Maclin and Jason Avant will be Philly's starting WRs. You've got to play Maclin and I like Avant as a nice sleeper for those of who will be without Jackson, Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Malcom Floyd, Reggie Wayne and others today. Such as in Cleveland, avoid Jags wideouts today. Do you really want to trust Todd Bouman? Good luck in week seven!
