Eagles' Michael Vick is getting closer to return, but Kevin Kolb will start

According to Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid, there's a chance Michael Vick @MikeVick could be his No. 2 QB for Sunday's game versus Atlanta. While Reid and Vick himself said he is feeling better every day, the starter's job still belongs to Kevin Kolb @KevinKolb_4. "I could dress out," Vick said. We're just going to see how it goes for the next couple of days. I'm making progress each and every day; it's a credit to the training staff. Just feeling good and ready to go." Vick has been out of action since sustaining a rib cartilage injury during the first half of week four's game versus Washington. Vick said he still feels pain in his shoulders, but it's tolerable. "It's not as bad as it was (even) two days ago."

Fantasy Analysis:

It sounds like Vick may be ready to take the reins back from Kolb next weekend. But again, Kolb will get his second consecutive start this Sunday versus the Falcons. It's not a friendly matchup as Atlanta has a league-high 10 interceptions and is currently allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. Kolb has been serviceable, not spectacular, in the seven quarters he's played since Vick's injury. If you're in a two-QB league, I think Kolb is a nice option, but he's not a QB1 in a 12-teamer. Also, I'm not putting DeSean Jackson on my bench if I can help it, but no Vick probably means another sub-par stat line from D-Jax.
