According to the Bergen (NJ) Record, on Thursday "Totowa police responded to two domestic disturbance calls at Giants receiver Plaxico Burress 's home the past few months, borough police Chief Robert Coyle confirmed today."

Burress was suspended by the Giants for two weeks (including the Week 5 game against the Seahawks)_ for missing practice on Monday and not responding to team inquires as to his whereabouts. It is unclear if the absence or subsequent suspension was related to these reported domestic issues. Though Burress was not charged, his wife filed restraining orders after each incident.
