Anderson on 'short leash', to start in Week 4'
The 0-3 Browns will stick it out with starting QB Derek Anderson
for the Week 4 tilt against the Bengals, but there is reason to believe he may not finish it. The Browns' offense has sputtered early on and the struggling Anderson, who has thrown two touchdown passes and five interceptions, has been a big reason why.
The Browns are giving strong signals that Brady Quinn
, who has throw only eight passes in two seasons since being drafted in the first round, could step in as soon as Sunday or after the Week 5 bye. Anderson owners would be wise to grab Quinn as insurance as the Browns' offense still has weapons to be a productive offense.
