Chargers WRs Vincent Jackson and Malcom Floyd miss practice again
Although the San Diego Chargers coaching staff is optimistic about them playing this weekend, wide receivers Vincent Jackson
(abdomen) and Malcom Floyd (groin) have missed the last two days of practice. "I don't think they can play at their best if they don't practice," head coach Norv Turner said. "It's hard on them. And it's hard on the other guys. It's hard to run a practice when six or seven guys are out." Running back Ryan Mathews
(foot) and tight end Antonio Gates (foot) are also battling with injuries.
Fantasy Analysis:
I expect everyone mentioned above to play, except maybe Gates. The Chargers are notorious slow-starters and that seems to be the case again this year. From here on out, you're going to have to just check up until game-time whether these guys will play. Jackson and Floyd have both played through a lot of injuries over the last few seasons so this isn't anything new anyway. One key thing is getting some big plays going to Jackson. This offense is at its best when he's doing his thing.
