UPDATE: Ken Whisenhunt optimistic about RB Beanie Wells
Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt said on AZCardinals.com that he is optimistic running back Beanie Wells (hamstring) can play this weekend. "We didn't have any setbacks. Hopefully, we'll get enough reps [on Friday] that we're comfortable and we'll check it out before the game as well," Whisenhunt said. Wells was able to reach a full sprint on Thursday, but didn't overexert himself as a limited practice participant.
Fantasy Analysis:
Given the touchy nature of a hamstring injury, it may be best to sit Wells unless you're in serious need of a back for your starting lineup. I would imagine they limit his carries and even if he's able to go, there's always the likelihood that he reaggrevates the injury and misses a large portion of the game. RB LaRod Stephens-Howling
(hand) return to full practice on Thursday so look for him to potentially spell Wells if he does play against the New York Giants.
