Texans head coach hoping Arian Foster will play in week 4
It's very early in the week, but Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said Monday afternoon that he's hoping Arian Foster
will return this Sunday after missing yesterday's game against the New Orleans Saints to rest his oft-injured hamstring.
"I hope he's full-go, ready to go," Kubiak said of Foster. "We'll see. He was feeling good yesterday. Obviously, we decided to give him that week (off) this week, thought that it was the best thing to do as we go through this process with him. I know he's chomping at the bit today to get back on the field full-time, and we'll sit there and watch how he works, and hopefully everything's full-speed."
After missing season's first game, Foster played in week two only to have his hamstring tighten up on him again. The Texans play the Pittsburgh Steelers this week.
Fantasy Analysis:
Not exactly the friendliest matchup for a running back returning from injury. Ben Tate
didn't look great against the Saints -- 20 touches, 90 total yards -- but I think that whenever Foster does return, Tate has shown that he deserves a decent amount of work. Foster will still get the majority of the carries if he stays healthy, but I think this is definitely a timeshare situation to some extent.
