Eagles' Michael Vick ready to play Sunday
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick
is listed on the Eagles' injury report as questionable to play in Sunday's game versus the New York Giants. That means he's 50-50 to be active. But you can pretty much make it 100-0 as far as Vick is concerned.
"No, there's no reason to think that I won't play on Sunday," Vick said Friday. "I think after having two good days of practice, I'm optimistic to go out there."
Vick suffered a concussion against the Falcons on Sunday night, but he was cleared to practice on Thursday and hasn't had experienced any setbacks with concussion symptoms.
Fantasy Analysis:
And there's no debate to be had. Vick is starting, so you're starting him. He's been all checked out, he truly is good to go. Vick and his fantasy owners couldn't have asked for a better matchup, either. The Giants are not bad against the run and rushing the passer, but they have absolutely nothing in their secondary to keep up with DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin. All of them are tremendous plays this week.
