Eagles QB Michael Vick wants to practice on Wednesday

ESPN is reporting that Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick @MikeVick wants to practice on Wednesday. Vick was concussed and forced out of the game during the Eagles' loss to the Atlanta Falcons. While being brought to the ground by Atlanta defensive end John Abraham, Vick's helmet struck a teammate's helmet straight on. Despite what Vick wants to do, he will still have to pass a series of tests, pass an MRI and be cleared by a neurologist all before he's allowed back to practice.

Fantasy Analysis:

Look for Vick to get back into practice later in the week. There is simply too much red tape involved for Vick to be allowed back so soon. These are all the same policies and tests other players must undergo when they are concussed. Fantasy owners who passed on Vick will point to these types of injuries as to why Vick wasn't worth a high draft pick. For now, grab backup QB Mike Kafka @mikekafka3 if you're in desperate need for a fill-in quarterback but keep in mind, there are a plethora of overachieving QB2's available in most leagues. Plus, given Vick's attitude, it doesn't seem like he's going to miss this game unless the doctors force him out.
