UPDATE: Report: Cowboys QB Tony Romo has 2 fractured ribs
Update: According to ESPN via sources, the result of Tony Romo's CT scan is back and he has only one rib fracture.
-----
We'll know for sure later today when Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo undergoes a CT, but according to FOX Sports' Matt Mosley, Romo has two fractured ribs. He suffered the injury during the first half of yesterday's win over the San Francisco 49ers and was replaced by Jon Kitna before making his return late in the fourth quarter. Romo said after the game that he had trouble yelling out signals and getting dressed. However, he's expected to play next Monday against the Washington Redskins.
Fantasy Analysis:
Expect the Cowboys to take it easy on Romo during the practice week. He may not practice at all or at least be very limited. But it sounds like he's probably not going to miss any games. I'm sure the team will put a bunch of protective wear on him before the game, and you know the Redskins will be targeting his ribs. I won't quite say he's a solid QB1 for week three because we need to see if wide receivers Miles Austin and Dez Bryant will play or not.
